One discovery can
change it all
...so here’s my story!
In the beginning was
Hip-Hop
My entrance into the creative world was through Breakdancing and Hip-Hop culture. I eventually became a choreographer, and I learned how to create impactful experiences at a
professional level.

I recently spent eight years as a business owner and co-director of a professional dance company. As a choreographer, I aimed to create experiences that inspired people to accomplish their dreams. It turns out though that I didn’t feel I was helping quite enough.

I eventually became a choreographer, and I learned how to create impactful experiences
at a professional level.

I recently spent eight years as a business
owner and co-director of a professional
dance company. As a choreographer,
I aimed to create experiences that inspired people to accomplish their dreams. It turns
out though that I didn’t feel I was helping
quite enough.
First Steps
to reveal a passion
I began to study marketing for my own
business, and over time, I started working for a marketing firm. I then developed skills in SEO, copywriting, and content creation. Along the
way, I picked up a camera and began creating
as a videographer.

I learned that video was an incredible way to
experience a story or message. My skill level
grew, and the marketing company I worked
for asked me to be their videographer. During
my time at this firm, I created video and
content strategies for lawyers, doctors, and
small business owners.
Training
and discovery
My passion for people grew, and I began to mentor other artists. My aim as a professional creative, whether in dance or content strategy, solely became about inspiring people to accomplish their dreams. As this was great, It did not help much in actualizing a dream.
I wanted to help more.

I began work for a restoration franchise as a digital marketing specialist. My responsibilities quickly grew beyond this title. I began to create for them as a graphic designer and videographer. Through this process, I realized that I wanted to offer more to a company by creating ways to experience their value best. I found UI/UX Design, and my life was forever changed!

I completed schooling at Bethel Tech (powered by
Woz U) and by the time I graduated, my responsibilities for that company moved into CX design.
I believe that we all were created with a specific value that the world needs. My aim had grown to create in a way that allowed for others to experience that value best.

My approach with this philosophy is to discover the value of an organization or individual, research the needs people may currently have, find the ways those points intersect, then design an experience that will reveal value and bring solutions to those who need them.

  • Every person was created with
    tremendous and specific value.
  • These values were given to bring
    solutions to the world.
  • The values we carry should
    connect with the people who
    need them most.
This desire and philosophy lead me on a
journey to discover a passion for a career,
that for years, I never knew existed.
Empathy, value, and creating the best
experience from a project have been in
my varied creative work for over ten years. I’m excited to
now be a part of such a powerful career,
and create much-needed solutions
through UI/UX Design!
